In the spirit of the winter break season (sorry retail folks, I did it for 12 years, I empathize), and because the Vine has been a bit volatile lately, I thought it might be cool to write an article celebrating some of the articles I have been most fond of lately. I invite all of you to add to this list. I think it will be a great way to find new friends and be turned on to new writers. My list is in no particular order. Here we go:
I found this article by Carol Nichols very educational. It deals with advancement of AIDS treatment in Uganda. It is fairly well written, well supported and easy to verify. A great post.
I thought this article by ScooterDMan dealt with some pretty interesting and important issues in a unique forum. I probably went back to it five or six times. Colbert/Stewart got solid coverage here.
This article by Jake Martin, just felt incredibly sincere. While I have read many articles like it, the voice in this one struck me. Topic: politics.
This was a very small "article" but it managed to illustrate just how powerful the Vine can be via collaboration. This masterstroke was by Dennis P. McCann .
As for sheer inventiveness, I love the fashion series by Stolte-Sawa, but this is my favorite.
I have also enjoyed three great music article/polls. This one by Miasma. This one by E to the Z. And this one by Adam Hobson opening the IMF list.
I also thought Chello's new article was very engaging. It is about rape and gender responsibility.
Ardith's invitation to the poetry smackdown was also memorable.
I have also greatly enjoyed sports seeds (I know they are not articles) by Argyleist.
Please add your favorites below, or feel free to comment on these. I hope this list grows. Sometimes great articles get missed. I hope we can catch a few here!
